Listed below are descriptions of our team's regular players' strengths.  No we don't discuss about weaknesses here, we prefer to gloat about what we can do rather than what we can't.  Anyway, we are a strong team so no many weaknesses to write about anyway.

Nicholas Chee - Goalkeeper, Defender

Football Traits: Nick is our court No1, but on the field, he is one of our relentless defenders who has the engine, pace and strength to match any wingers.  On the court, he is undoubtedly our best goalkeeper.

Football Traits: Henry is one of the best tacklers in the team, and possesses great pace and anticipation sense to intercept passes with ease.  A nightmare to defend against, and a nightmare to attack against, Henry is versatile and delightfully effective when he is in the mood.  Our team's first goalscorer in field soccer.

Ricardo Chee - Left Wingback, Winger

Football Traits: Ricardo is a natural winger who has close control, pace, dribbling skills and great determination.  He is the youngest member of the team, but his performances does not reflect that.  If he also has good finishing skills, he would be an extremely deadly attacker.  Hugely effective and bringing the ball into attack, Ricado is also an effective ball-winner in his position.

Joel Tan - Sweeper, Defender

Football Traits: Our defensive steward, he is our most intelligent defender, with great reading and vision.  He controls the defence superbly and has brought out the best in the whole defensive unit.  He is extremely strong, and makes up for his lack of pace with intelligent reading of the game and superb anticipation.

Football Traits: Steve was originally our defensive midfielder due to his outstanding stamina, determination and enormous strength.  He has played as striker before converting perfectly into centre-back.  He never looked back as he continued to produce excellent preformances as defender, helping to clear all sorts of dangerous situations and his physical presence is a real menance to opposing attackers.

Football Traits: Ben, Nick and Ricardo's brother, is the tallest of the three, and unsurprisingly the best header of the three.  He has good reading of the game and is an effective ball-winner.  Cool and composed, he has the ability to hold on to the ball before releasing it with good passes, oftenly prompting counter attacks.

Matt Ng - Attacking Midfielder

Football Traits: Matt possesses one of the most powerful shots in the team as he often scores from way out with scorchers.  Matt is a flair player who likes and dares to hold on to the ball and find his own way out of trouble with quick turns and close control.  An intelligent attacker.

Football Traits: Undoubtedly, our team's best player.  Lawrence always produces consistent performances and has excellent ball-control, vision, passing, and finishing skills.  He brings the whole team into play, and it is notable that whenever he plays for the team, we rarely loses a goal.  Lawrence has the whole package and although he can play anywhere, he is most effective as the playmaker of the team.  He can link up with players with whom he had never played before with davastating effect.  An invaluable player for the team.

John Jason - Midfielder, Striker

Football Traits: Jason is one of our creative players who loves running at defences and is tenacious enough to track back when we loses the ball.  He has wonderful control, and does the ball back-flip up with such ease that he often makes opposing defenders embarassed.  A team player, he always looks to bring players into play especially in attack, and has great positioning sense to be at the right place at the right time.

Ivan Yew - Defensive Midfielder

Football Traits: Ivan is a very enthusiastic player who has learned the ropes rapidly as he only started playing regulary when Al Matadors was set-up.  The tallest player in the team, he is our main threat in corner throw-ins in court soccer, and has scored loads of goals from headers.  He is our most improved player this year as he becomes more effective in winning the ball and is always keen to look for the perfect pass.

Tham Weimin - Striker, Wingback

Football Traits: Weimin is our mighty mouse.  Although he is the smallest in size in the team, he is robust in nature and can definitely hold his own against bigger, tougher defenders.  Pacy and tricky, Weimin is rapidly sealing his place in the team as a key striker since his switch only a few months back.  Weimin started as a full-back before joining Al Matadors as wingback.  His switch to striker has been decided among the tacticians in the team and he has since improved vastly in off-the-ball running and positioning and has bagged in loads of goals weekly.

Alvin Tham (c) - Striker

Football Traits: Nicknamed the "Scorer" by teammates, Alvin is the chief striker in the team.  He is the team's second goalscorer in Al Matadors' debut field match.  He dreams of soccer and soccer is his dream. He infuses his passion for soccer into the team. The captain of our team, he signifies the spirit and drive of the team, always getting the team going and motivated. The number 10 of team is a striker with a lethal finish whose eye for goal is impeccable. Over the years, he has honed on many aspects of the game and has become a nightmare for the opponent’s defense with his excellent reading of the game, off-the-ball running, positioning and deadly finishing. Besides scoring the goals, he continues to work on his distribution of the ball in the mould of his idol, Arsenal legend, Dennis Bergkamp.

Gary Lim - Defender, Midfielder, Striker, Free-Roaming Playmaker

Football Traits: Together with Lawrence, Gary is our best player.  He has the same qualities and silky skills as Lawrence, but what makes him really stand out is he has more pace and is more nimble than Lawrence, in fact, more than the rest of the team.  Gary can play anywhere and he can still produce top class performances.  Gary loves to run at defences and is the most fouled player in our team.  A real nightmare to play against.  The complete player.

Vidhu - Defensive Midfielder

Football Traits: Vidhu is a gifted strong player who holds the midfield together and offer the backline more stability.  He stabilises the whole team with assured displays in midfield and can offer our midfield options that no one else in the team can.  With him around, our midfielders can roam forward in attack knowing they can reply on him should the opposition wins the ball.  The best ball-winner in the team.  Vidhu is the third goalscorer of our team's first field match.
